Injections for wrinkles

Botulinum toxin (BT) is a naturally occurring toxin that specifically weakens muscles when injected into them. It was developed to treat the visual signs of aging by reducing or removing wrinkles. 

The procedure is considered a safe, effective way of treating aging skin.  Common areas for  injections include horizontal forehead furrows, vertical lines between the eyebrows and "crow's feet" around the eyes.  Injections have proven to be the best non-surgical form of facial rejuvenation and is capable of producing phenomenal improvements in your appearance.

The nerve impulse that initiates muscle contraction is blocked thereby weakening of these muscles. Once facial expression muscles are weakened adequately, appearance of wrinkles and facial lines is significantly reduced. Injectables are also increasingly popular method these days for reducing excessive sweating (especially arm pits) and tension headaches.

Injectables are used in our practice on every day basis by our specially trained nurses to reduce expression lines, worry lines, crow's feet and laugh lines. They are also used in small dosages for improvement of droopy eyebrows, without the need for a surgical brow lift. Injectables are given with the finest available needles for comfort and for reducing bruising.
