Scar Revision
Scar Revision is the surgical treatment to improve the appearance of scar. Scar is a result of healing of a wound with a complex biological process that stretches over few weeks to few months or even years. Most common complaints are about the scars which are prominent, unsightly, itchy, lumpy or occasionally, causing discomfort because of stretching. Not all scars need surgical correction. In fact, only a few scars need surgery. One of the most important precautions after scar revision procedure is to protect it from direct Sun exposure for at least 3-6 months following the surgery.
