We have two types of vascular ‘lasers’ for effectively treating unsightly capillaries and blood vessels in the skin. The BBL or broad band light is useful in specific frequency and settings carefully tuned to your skin type and blood vessels is one option, while Nd:YAG laser the other. Both target and destroy unwanted capillaries and blood vessels of the skin.

The beauty of using the state of the art Sciton laser equipment is that one can choose the fine tuned setting and the wavelength and strength to only selectively destroy abnormal blood vessels only. This avoids injury to the surrounding normal skin structures. When used properly by our specially trained nurses, the procedure is extremely safe and effective.

Sciton laser also offers unique and powerful skin cooling chilled sapphire crystal to make this procedure more comfortable. Our trained nurses will carefully assess your skin and choose the appropriate type of laser and its settings to achieve the best results possible. Occasionally you may need more than one treatment depending on the severity of your problem. The destruction of the blood vessels is usually permanent.
